Even not being a videogamer, but knowing a bit of the world-famous one, I truly appreciated this adaptation from the very talented director Zach Cregger, creator of the wonderful "Weapons". Great performance by Austin Abrams. Mark: 7.5 / 10

A sort of English language version of the 2020 Spanish movie "Sentimental", it's a witty, smart and enjoyable remake, with the right pace and a phenomenal Penelope Cruz. Mark: 7.5 / 10

Adapted from the 2022 novel of the same name written by Shelby Van Pelt, it's a delightful story of unconventional fredship between a lonely guy and a cleaning lady working in an aquarium. Sally Field delivers a very passionate performance, as usual. Mark: 7.5 / 10

Between The Martian and Close Encounters of the Third Kind (not just for no reason quoted by the main character), this enjoyable movie mixed a magnificent technical production, a great (adapted) script, a spot on soundtrack and a great performance by both Ryan Gosling and Sandra Hueller. Mark: 7.5 / 10

The incredibly hyped adaptation of Homer's renowned epic poem does not disappoint. The cast is great (except for Zendaya, in my opinion), Nolan's (technical) direction is immaculate, but I think that such grandeur ends up drying the pure, authentical, emotional approach. Mark: 8 / 10

A huge publicity campaign for the seguel of the "iconic" first chapter wasn't exactly a promising sign. Frankly, with a domesticated version of Miranda Priestley and a carbon copy script, the result is weak and boring. Mark: 5 / 10

A sort of long farewell to all the great characters of this brilliant tv show: though concentrating a bit too much on Nick and Charlie, the movie is enjoyable and (bitter)sweet. Mark: 7.5 / 10

I can understand why this movie received so many conflicting reviews: it's a sincere, basic and direct analysis of depression, relying on our past and present. Unfortunately I found it pretty weak and somewhat sterile. Mark: 6 / 10

I have to admit that, being a huge fan of the screenwriter and director Emerald Fennell, my expectations for her third instalment were pretty high: this is probably one of the reasons why I didn't appreciate this (very loose) adaptation. A shoutout just for the music. The rest is out of place. Mark: 5.5 / 10

Nothing more than a pretty product. But the real Pixar talent is almost definitively lost. In my opinion, suitable for an under 12 audience. Mark: 6 / 10

Devotion. Submission. BDSM. Fetishism. Declined in the semi-rural England of nowadays. The actors are simply great and the hitchless story is intriguing and very well written. A very nice surprise. Mark: 8 / 10

My biggest mistake was comparing this reboot to the original ones with the one and only Leslie Nielsen. Anyhow, apart from the chemistry between the main actors, this product, in my opinion, is not funny. Mark: 4 / 10

A primaeval movie, co-written by the director and the author of the homonymous novel, magnificently acted (Buckley and Mescal are simply enormous) and with an incredible staging. The last half hour is pure and authentic cinematic art. Mark: 9 / 10

The biggest issue of this picture is, in my opinion, the lack of empathy toward the main character, his occurrences and, consequently, the whole story. Chalamet delivers a strong performance, but it's not enough. Mark: 6.5 / 10

The 2025  Academy Award winner (Animated feature film) is a gem: a bit hard to decode, but this is probably its genius. It's definitely a must see for more than a reason. Mark: 8 / 10

Basic entertainment and pleasant songs in this fairly enjoyable product. In my humble opinion, it can be considered a strictly under fourteen feature. Mark: 6 / 10

The premises are juicy, the cast works hard to make the whole occurrence plausible, but the movie miserably drowns in an ocean of obviousness and naivety. The first appearance of the vampires is ludicrous. Sixteen Academy awards nods? Don't be ridiculous. Mark: 6 / 10

Based on Denis Johnson's novella, it's an intimate, deep and poignant portrait of a man and his attitude toward life, work, love and change. Joel Edgerton offers an awesome performance. Mark: 8 / 10

A great movie. From the incredibly original and spot on screenplay to the amazing cast (DiCaprio and Penn deserve tons of awards), this is a product that makes us laugh, amaze and ultimately think. Mark: 8.5 / 10

An enjoyable remake, lifting off from the appearance of the creature and with a somewhat warm ending. Very good performance by Jacob Elordi. Mark: 7 / 10
