Take the first chapter, shake the original subject and plot just a little bit, add some bigger and louder scenes, and you obtain this rather disappointing sequel. The main issue? The fact that you don't really care about the fate of every single character. Mark: 5.5 / 10

A touching, powerful portrait of motherhood, love and historic memories intertwining in nowadays Spain. Penélope Cruz is awesome, as the rest of the cast, and the cinematography is absolutely top-notch. Mark: 8.5 / 10
