Praised by critics and adored by audiences, this second chapter of the spin-off saga dedicated to the booted cat, in my opinion, is nothing more than a sluggish and tamed cartoon. What a waste of time.

"Exercise of style" is often a pretty abused expression to indicate a movie (or else) that is a sort of showoff of the director: in this case, unfortunately, it's totally appropriate. It's not a failure (Silvio Orlando's performance is monumental and the visual aspect is awesome), but Sorrentino's approach, in my opinion, has undertaken an insubstantial direction. Mark: 6.5 / 10
