The sad thing about this enjoyable gay rom-com is that it bombed at the box office: unfortunately, even in 2023, people are not ready to face an unconventional love story. What a shame.

"Exercise of style" is often a pretty abused expression to indicate a movie (or else) that is a sort of showoff of the director: in this case, unfortunately, it's totally appropriate. It's not a failure (Silvio Orlando's performance is monumental and the visual aspect is awesome), but Sorrentino's approach, in my opinion, has undertaken an insubstantial direction. Mark: 6.5 / 10
