More than enjoyable superhero movie, with a great cast, an intriguing plot and a very strong message concerning equality and acceptance. Oh, and it's always a pleasure to see the magnificent Angela Bassett. Mark: 7.5 / 10
As suggested by my dearest friend Massimo, an "energizing and uplifting" movie, technically superb and definitely enjoyable. A little different from the majority of superhero products, and that's a plus, in my opinion. Mark: 7 / 10
Both prequel and sequel to "Snow White and the Huntsman", this pretty entertaining film can count on a quite remarkable cast and some really enjoyable moments. It's not a masterpiece, but it's rather agreeable. Mark: 6.5 / 10
The fourth adaptation from Agatha Christie's masterpiece is an enjoyable, magnificently crafted and stunningly acted product, with a special mention for Branagh's performance. Great score by Patrick Doyle. Mark: 8 / 10
Magnificently written and acted, this movie delivers a unique and almost forgotten experience, lounging between experimental romance and sci-fi thriller. Absolutely deserved the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. Unmissable. Mark: 8.5 / 10
Being the first (of many?) spin-off taken from the wizarding world of Harry Potter, there was great expectation: well, I have to confess that, surprisingly, the film is thoroughly enjoyable, extremely well acted and magnificently crafted. Mark: 7.5 / 10
Lance Armstrong's rise and fall in an enjoyable but too schematic depiction of one of the most incredible doping cases in sports history. Mark: 6.5 / 10
More than forgettable fifth instalment of this by now forgettable saga. The only reason to bother and see it is to see the (hopefully) ultimate and final reunion. Mark: 5 / 10
Interesting, wicked documentary about a twisted mind using a sort of innocent bait (tickling competitions) to blackmail young, straight, college guys. It seems the plot of a (gay) porn movie or something like that: sadly, everything is real. Mark: 7 / 10
At last, a movie that deserves all the praises and talking and hype that got: magnificently acted, terrifically written and wonderfully directed. Mark: 8.5 / 10
"The more I try to find some kind of justifiable meaning and relevance, the more I find this movie a loopy, lunkheaded load of drivel." - Rex Reed, New York Observer Need I say more? Mark: 5 / 10
Scary, somewhat funny, witty, forcing the audience to a non stop razor's edge kind of mood, very well acted, terrifically written. Some ideas taken here and there, but overall a must see movie. Mark: 8 / 10
Being a huge fan of figure skating, this was a must see. Apart from every consideration regarding the "incident" between Harding and Kerrigan, the movie is wonderfully acted, intriguingly (and ironically) scripted and, in the end, it has a great sense of rhythm. A must see indeed, for everyone. Mark: 8 / 10
Before writing these couple of lines, I checked the overall consensus, and I must admit I was pretty shocked to see that almost everyone seems to have liked (a lot) this sequel. Well, not me. In my (humble) opinion, it's way distant from the prototype, under every aspect. Mark: 6.5 / 10
