Nocturnal Animals

If I really like a movie, its images, fragments and details keep coming to my mind. I've seen this film three days ago, and it's still here. Every frame of it. Therefore I can just say: unmissable. Mark: 8.5 / 10

Ice Age: Collision Course

This fifth installment of the Blue Sky series is somewhat entertaining, but it lacks rhythm and substance. Overall, not a complete waste of time. Mark: 6 / 10

Finding Dory

A quite disappointing sequel to the fabulous Finding Nemo, too focused on defining the psychological aspect of some characters to result enjoyable as a whole. Mark: 5.5 / 10

The Last Witch Hunter

And then you happen to start watching a movie that seems quite interesting (I've always loved witch tales), but in the end you discover it wasn't. Full stop. Mark: 5.5 / 10

Zoolander 2

A pure and simple bunch of canine droppings. An insult to the audience of the whole world. Period. Mark: 1 / 10

Fracture

The notable cast of this 2007 well known movie persuaded me to see it, at last. In the end, I can say it was an almost complete waste of time, since I felt the lack of rhythm and empathy throughout the entire film. Mark: 5.5 / 10

The Martian

This is the movie that reconciled myself and Ridley Scott's cinema. It's technically astonishing, visually superb, thoroughly entertaining, witty and moving. And Matt Damon is spectacular. If you haven't seen it so far, do it now. You won't be disappointed at all. Mark: 8.5 / 10

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The latest installment of one of the most successful movie sagas of all time does not disappoint, nor enthuses. In one word: meh. Mark: 6.5 / 10

The Dressmaker

A sort of twisted and somewhat funny Gothic tale, this movie literally drowns during the second half, despite a great effort by the unique Kate Winslet. The typical lost occasion. Mark: 6 / 10

Mad Max: Fury Road

Extravagantly deranged, ear-splittingly cacophonous, and entirely over the top, George Miller has revived his  Mad Max  punk-western franchise as a bizarre convoy chase action-thriller in the post-apocalyptic desert. (Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian) Mark: 8 / 10

Kingsman: The Secret Service

A total surprise: witty, absolutely entertaining, definitely well acted and above all incredibly funny. A must watch for everyone searching for a refreshingly pleasant movie. Mark: 8 / 10
